The OZ-A/S snow plough is a multi-segment plough with a folding mouldboard. It has been designed for effective snow removal on motorways, expressways and multi-lane roads. Thanks to its construction, it is suitable for intensive winter road maintenance operations.

The plough design enables efficient operation in combination with a side plough. As a result, the snow clearing width is increased and the number of working passes can be reduced. This is particularly important on high-speed roads, where time, safety and traffic continuity are essential.

The folding section of the mouldboard makes it easier to pass through narrow sections, gates and areas with limited width. In addition, it allows the vehicle to manoeuvre more easily outside the main working area. The segmented construction allows individual mouldboard sections to react independently to obstacles. As a result, the plough removes snow more accurately while reducing loads transferred to the vehicle.

The OZ-A/S plough is equipped with hydraulic control from the operator’s cab. The system includes lifting, lowering, right and left angling, and floating position. Importantly, the autonomous hydraulic system powered by 24V DC also enables operation with vehicles that do not have their own hydraulic system. Therefore, the snow plough can be used with various road carrier vehicles.

Robust steel construction ensures durability during operation in harsh winter conditions. In addition, C5 category anti-corrosion protection helps protect plough components against moisture, road salt and changing temperatures. Kueper Kombi GK5 blades support effective removal of snow and slush from the road surface.

To increase snow removal efficiency on expressways, the OZ-A/S46 snow plough can be combined with the OZ-S side plough (click HERE to read more) . This solution increases the total snow clearing width to 5.75 metres. A greater working width means fewer passes, more efficient work organisation and faster restoration of road passability.
